Electric Motor Maintenance

Electric motor maintenance is ideal when they are used in RC airplanes. In areas where noise is a concern and for those who like to fly gliders, but don’t have space for a launching system, electric motors offer an easy and efficient way to get your airplane in the air.

Scale models can be powered by motors, as can “multi engine” models and ducted fan models.

The maintenance for rc airplane electric motors really only requires you to keep them in a cool dry place, and don’t keep the motor throttle at “full” for long periods of time, or the engine will overheat.
