What's the difference?

The difference between a toy RC airplane and a regular RC airplane is basically the seriousness of the model. For example, a nitro powered RC airplane has flaps, ailerons, landing gears and more.

But a toy RC airplane is just electrically powered and there is no flap or aileron control, nor landing gears. This is because all you have to do to get a toy R/C plane in the air is hand launch it and control it with the throttle.

That’s good though, because toy RC airplanes are for young beginners and/or people who just want a relaxing flight. Flap and aileron control is something that takes practice to master and requires the most attention.

When buying an rc toy airplane for your kid, you really don’t need to get much because the airplanes come with everything needed.
